Saddam's trial

Like the Romans with the lions, the iraqis and the world need a distraction. Will this trial be fair? Who knows, what the hell can we do about it.

Having said that, the old man came out like a Lion. You expected a mouse and he roared instead. This is probably how he became the head of Iraq by himself. You need not like him, what he's done but he certainly commanded respect from those watching him. Disarmed, alone, isolated for months and he still stood up and demanded the respect that he thinks is his due. With gavel to gavel coverage, will we see the trial break the spirit of this fallen scoundrel?
